Research on Self-Assessment

During my Bachelor of Education year, I took on a short research problem during my practicum in February and May. I wanted to see if self-assessment increased intrinsic motivation in the classroom. I think that self-regulation skills are vital for any learner to walk out of my classroom with so this research project just allowed me to see how self-regulation and self-assessment work for students.

Below you can find the consent form for the study, the self-assessment form that was given to students, as well as samples from students in each of the three classes I was in. You can can also find my full report about the effectiveness of the self-assessment forms and my thoughts on self-regulation.
